All Aloud Summer Concert: A concert given by the choir in aid of charity, 7:30 pm Friday 19th June 2026 at Kúbatin (below Hostal Mesón Arboleas). Entry is free but there will be a collection for charity at the end of the show. There will be a drinks bar at the end as well.
Royal British Legion Armed Forces Weekend BBQ
The Royal British Legion Zurgena & District is celebrating Armed Forces Weekend on Sunday 28th June from 5pm with a BBQ and entertainment at New Bar International, raising money for the Poppy Appeal and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Tickets are 20 euros per person, including the BBQ meal and entertainment, and they’re selling fast.

Age Support Almanzora’s Bottle Bank Appeal
It’s that time of year again, and Age Support Almanzora is asking for your help ahead of their next fundraising event on Saturday 4th July.
They’re looking for donations of a bottle or two of almost anything – from wine, spirits and soft drinks to olive oil, shampoo or even washing-up liquid! Every donation helps create a fantastic Bottle Bank and raises valuable funds to support their work in our community.
If you’d like to help, simply drop your donation off at the Age Support shop opposite the Peugeot Garage in Albox.
Musical Lunch in aid of APSA
The popular Musical Lunch at Aljambra in Albox is back on Wednesday 8th July at 1pm — and after selling out last year, tickets are expected to go quickly.
Enjoy a freshly made buffet, live music in the beautiful courtyard from Annigma, Geoff Murrell and Carol George, plus a tombola and raffle.
